Nedlaw Roofs, located in Breslau, Ontario, is currently hiring for the position of Foreman in their Service and Repair Division. Nedlaw is a well-established commercial/industrial roofing contractor operating in Southwestern Ontario.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead a 2 man crew in a fully equipped service cube van to accomplish the following
- Perform scheduled installs on existing roofs such as curbs , cones , drains, working with other trades
- Perform specified maintenance work on existing roof systems
- Investigate and rectify roof leaks during and after regular hours on an emergency basis , possibly during inclement weather conditions
- Report findings and recommend permanent repairs from your leak investigation
- Team up with other service crews for small reroofs and new construction installs
- Ensure both efficiency and quality during installs
- Determine and implement safety requirements to perform the above work
- Maintain vehicle and equipment in good working order
- Share your knowledge and experience with new trainees
- Represent Nedlaw to maintain excellent relationships with hard won customers
- Work with all customers in a professional manner
Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience in the flat roofing industry
- Thorough knowledge of all flat roof systems
- Developed reasoning skills in assessing and finding roof leaks
- Ability to take direction and work co-operatively with project managers and co-workers
- Committed to working safely and meeting requirements of the occupational health and safety act and Nedlaw policy.
